Pool Party

This Topshop Nail Varnish was a little bit of an impulse purchase while in the queue. I just thought the colour was cute and picked it up. I didnt even look at the name or anything just grabbed it....This could be a problem?! It's called Pool Party and I love how bright the colour is. When I saw the name I was thinking 'Yay Lily Pebbles loves this colour' She is a HUGE nail varnish fan so I knew it was going to be good. I have had so many compliments on this colour, I even had a lady ask if she could buy the bottle from me? I really like that it is almost exactly the same colour as Tiffany Boxes. I might go as far to say Topshop Nail Varnishes are my favourite. I love the packaging, the brush, the formula goes on so well and they have such a great selection of colours.

What do you think of Topshop Nail Varnishes? Do you like this colour?? Let me Know :)

Little White Dress

At the weekend I went to my Grandads golf club for a function/presentation thing with my family. We all had to get a little dressed up and look a bit fancy pants so I chose this dress I got on holiday at a spanish market in Calpe. I love the beaded neck detail and is so easy to wear as it can be dressed up or down. I did wear it with a black blazer to cover up the low back and to smarten it up a little, sorry I forgot to take photos of the full look ( We were running late). I paired it all with my comfiest black heels from Primark that were a bargain £12, I always find Primark have the comfiest heels which is brilliant for my bank balance.

What do you think of this look? Would you have styled it a different way??

Topshop Highlighter and Lipstick

I have wanted a highlighter for so long. When in Barcelona I searched so many Sephoras and Department stores searching for Nars Albatross as it seemed that it is the holy grail of highlighters in the beauty world, however it was sold out......... EVERYWHERE.
Now I am currently too poor to purchase such an expensive make up item so when I saw this Highlighter in Topshop I was so excited, I had seen Kate from Gh0stParties mention this highlighter before in a YouTube video and every other time I had been shopping it was sold out.

The highlighter was £10 and when you swipe your finger it is so highly pigmented its lovely. Its perfect  for in the day as just a sweep across the top of my cheekbones but when I am on a night out its easy to build up into a lovely glow.

I also purchased A Topshop lipstick in Inhibition a deep purple colour. It was £8 and quite a daring shade but I just fancied something a bit different and I am so glad I tried it. Its so pigmented it goes on so easily and doesn't look cakey or cheap. Its lovely and creamy and stays put so well it hardly needs topping up.

You can see me wearing this lipstick in my Brave Soul Blogging Event post, showing even though its a risqué colour its not too harsh or difficult to wear. I can see this being my go to lipstick for this A/W, perfect for the plum lip trend.

Brave Soul A/W 2012 Collection

I was so excited to be invited to Brave Souls A/W 2012 collection Blogger Event. It's the first blogger event i've attended and it was so fun, it was so nice to chat to other bloggers about all subjects and dilemmas we all face like Outfit posts, photography, lighting, blogs we read and blog design etc. I know a lot of my friends don't really understand why I like to blog, some who don't know me too well even consider fashion blogging all about vanity, so it was great just to talk to like minded people.

The event was held in The Circle Club in Manchester and the guys at Brave Soul were the perfect hosts with non stop champagne and loads of canapés on offer.

Brave Soul is a Manchester based company who are only about three years old and are going from strength to strength. A lot of the clothes are very reasonably priced, many from under £30. For women they had so many wardrobe staples including leather jackets, comfy jumpers and quilted coats. The mens collection was also brilliant. they had shirts I am considering buying for my boyfriend for his birthday next month, they are definitely good contenders for what is in Topman at the moment and had cool vintage inspired prints.

Here are some photos from the evening.

Shirt - Zara
Shorts - River Island
Shoes - Topshop
Lipstick - Topshop
Sunglasses - Ray Ban
Bag - Bershka

Me and Ella Nora from Hand-Drawn Heart. I also met Ashleigh from Pretty Girl Rich.

I had such a great time and as i left i was given a goodie bag with a red, gorgeously soft jumper inside as well as a few other goodies which was so kind.

You can check out Brave Soul and their new collection Here.

Inglot Palette

When I watched Lily's video about her inglot palette I knew I needed to get one. Straight away I googled where they have stores and was so excited when I saw there was one in Barcelona.

Inglot is a make up brand where they offer a freedom range where you can make your own palettes may it be eyeshadow, concealer, lipsticks blushers etc in a different range of sizes.
I chose the 5 eyeshadow pallete as I thought it would be brilliant to pop in my bag for when im away from home. I wanted the eyeshadows to cover all occasions. I chose Two matte shades, an all over neutral base, a warmer brown for a natural eye for the day, and then three pearl shimmer shades, a brown for a more natural smokey eye, a gorgeous shimmer green and a black for a more dramatic eye.

When your in the store they offer you a magnetic board for you to place the eyeshadows you love on, you can decide their order and see properly how they go together once in your palette. Once I was happy with the colours I had chosen the shop assistant showed me how to pop my colours into the palette once home.

I paid 26 Euros for my palette and all 5 eyeshadows, I believe it is £28 to make one in London's Westfield. Even so I think it is an absolute steal, as generally a good quality eyeshadow is usually about £10 or more. The eyeshadows are really pigmented, such good quality and go on lovely and smooth plus I have had no trouble with creasing or smudging. Also the palette it self is all magnetic so the lid just pops on so it seems much sturdier then other palettes I have tried and I think its a lovely design. I would highly recommend one to any beauty fanatic.

Have you ever tried Inglot Make up? Do you think you will be designing your own palette?
