Elie Saab is becoming the King of glamorous gowns, often compared to Oscar De La Renta for celebrating womanly curves and designing extravagant gowns all girls will dream to one day wear.
Only with a slight nod to the Sixties which is set to be a huge trend in A/W 2011 this collection is inspired by the Parisian Belle Du Jour. All classic lines and Silhouettes with Black, Plum, Grey and abstract multicoloured print this collection could easily stand the test of time.
Here are a number of my favourite from the collection,
Sarah Jessica Parker wore this gown to the Cannes 2011 film festival. This was the gown that made me so excited to see the rest of the collection. The colours maintaining the fun of summer while also keeping the lengths in the sleeves for warmth on an autumn evening. I can see this inspiring a lot of designs on the high street.
Daisy Lowe has recently been in a large number of magazines looking gorgeous in this red number at the Elie Saab Fashion show in Paris. Oozing glamour, Daisy's curves are to die for in this dress.
This dress as the finale piece shoes how Saab can create clothes that fit women and compliment their shape. This is a timeless dress that could be worn down the red carpet for years to come.
Which is your favourite dress from the collection? I have found it so difficult to break this collection down to just 32 dresses from 50 so choosing one may is just too difficult.
